Dorian Craft and Nicolas Masseyeff unveil ‘A Place Called Home’, a glorious ode to their native city of Cannes, France, and a delicious taster from Dorian’s forthcoming debut album that is set to drop on Diversions in the fall.

A few years apart in age, Nicolas has always been a mentor to the younger producers from his home city. “He’s always been the guy you’d seek approval from with your music projects” says Dorian. “A kind of mentor I guess. Nico would regularly give you his time and advice. He also saw my evolution and would push me to achieve my goals. The faith he showed in me made him the natural choice when it came to collaborate on a track for my album project.”

The magical triumvirate behind ‘A Place Called Home’ is completed by Joy Tyson. The Berlin-based Floridian singer who Dorian was first introduced to back in 2021 and who since, has continued to impress with wave after wave of innovative ideas. Some of which, including the Bulgarian choir that feature on the single, have found their place upon the new album.

So, to ‘A Place Called Home’ the wonderfully powerful and emotive lead single. Driven by Joy’s incredible vocal performance it is a track that simmers with intent. Perpetually percussive and purposely evolving, the French duo expertly build to a tense but ultimately rewarding crescendo, all the time guided by Joy’s magical vocal.

A Place Called Home is the perfect precursor to Dorian Craft’s highly anticipated album. Watch this space...
